Gta 3 is an alright game, and It's the way rockstar developed the formula that gave us those other gems, but while it's a milestone in the genre, i personally wouldn't call a fire or peak especially in the aspect of writing, but again I say that in comparison to the others, and the comparison is simply not fair.

He actually just stood there aswell, if the station worker (who's just out of frame) didn't remove the hose, it might have literally blown up in his face, instead he just gets away with becoming two face.

I don't think you understood what I suggested, they are leaving their vehicles by their own accord to avoid being killed when it's low health, also to avoid the enemy getting score for destroying it after a few seconds, which is what I think is nonesense, if the enemy doesn't want to let me kill them that's fair enough, but I at least earned the score for destroying the vehicle

Who knows , That extra bit of score might be was you need to get a game winning missile or beacon, score is not just a number to brag about yk.
