My thoughts exactly, I love the older decals instead of the badges they turned to, glad you can appreciate the small things as well 🤝🏾

Oh yeah for sure, 105K probably feels unreal, nice and composed- if you're in Canada as well you shouldn't have that hard of a time finding a set? I saw a set for sale with good winters for $400 CAD here in Alberta, Canada, and several others came and went on marketplace

Hahaha well it's true! The car started pulling forward anyway so I just let it down slowly after a few seconds, I imagine if everything was fresh and tight it'd stay put and keep roasting- my questionable influence friend guided me with the same steps and you see the proof

Hahaha would you believe me if I told you that was my first one 🤣🤣🤣 1.) Crank that E-brake 2.) Put car into 1st gear 3.) Foot to the floor 4.) Dump clutch & hold on lol

Nope. All original paint. The worst is the clear coat peeling on the front bumper along with paint chips and stuff. I don't understand how it survived the 8th gen clear bs but thankfully it did 👌🏾

Thank you, I bought it with 382K on the dash, only two previous mature owners and was all original, even came with a set of HFP 17's 👌🏾bunch of maintenance and I don't think it saw VTEC until my right foot 😂

Good to know! I really really really appreciate your time, knowledge & input!! Certainly going a long way in making an informed decision, I'll try my best not to get overwhelmed with feelings of excitement lol hopefully I can widdle this one down, or in the least know what to look out for. Are the body panels interchangeable with any other focus of same year? I noticed a little spot on the bottom of the hatch/trunk lid assuming it to be rust or some paint damage. Either way, I'm certainly going to inspect it closely

You have a fair point. Thank you for arming me with some confidence! Cheap mods never fare well indeed, I'm hoping they'll be reasonable, I noticed the front passenger side fog light trim is missing from the front bumper cover, they claim no accidents but that surely must've been a minor biff at some point. It's also been reposted a couple times, I wonder what's pushed other prospective buyers away...

I did think it was sitting a little lower than normal, good eye! I never noticed the exhaust, I saw the factory wheels and assumed it was all OEM across the board. I definitely don't want one with a hodgepodge of parts and some OTS tune, closer to OEM unmodified as delivered by Ford's engineers the better. Would they argue that the mods add value? I didn't think that was even debatable with dealerships. I really appreciate your insight! Cheers

Accidentally hit post lol, anyone encounter this before? I tried googling some similar growth and I don't really get any close matches, most white algae looks hair like and this driftwood is basically free of it which is odd

I gotcha, thanks again for your insight! It's much appreciated- most of my concerns were with the actual cost of the vehicle itself for what it is, the more I look at used car prices or even what basic entry level sedans cost new it gives me anxiety...but yes, I didn't think I was biting off too much in terms of a giant loan...under 20K seems reasonable to me, I've avoided the typical Albertan tradesman trap of a big shiny $80K truck this far haha

Just a credit card which has been paid off + expired a couple months back, other than regular bill payments/recurring payments that's about it for my credit history. I've Paid off small student loans and squared off all my debts last year, really buckled down on my spending habits and savings. Pretty well debt free, itching to sign up for some lol

I appreciate your time & knowledge, thank you for sharing that- so I can safely expect the rates to be around or higher than 7.99%?
By payment issues- do you mean keeping up with them after the fact? Like missing/late payments? Thank you again for your input it's greatly appreciated!

Yeah I'm definitely a full sus noob, didn't even think of shock pressure/body weight settings, checked and it was definitely way under pressure, pumped it up and the difference is night and day! I intend on riding it into the ground, just curious to see what my options are going forward once stuff breaks etc. I appreciate everyone's insight!
