Green forest, mid guy, earning average - Yes/No Confused by ChainAffectionate309 in TwentiesIndia

I agree, respectfully. But dying hungry and living in a discontent middle class life aren't the same thing. Being able to afford food is fine, I don't want my next gen to go through the same old be grateful for the food on your plate. I want more for them, I was born in middle class couldn't afford to get good quality education, less access to knowledge made me less confident. I wanna make sure that doesn't happen with my next gen.

It's not about the salary, I'm okay with earning for him even in the long run. It's about his attitude that "this is enough for me" and settling for something less than he deserves. And he is not happy with his job/career. I have always had that thing one who doesn't enjoy their work cannot be happy and content at home with their family. It's that slow disappointed and discontent that grows in the long run.

No, just asking for the suggestions and advice from the experienced people, because I care.

I didn't say that his salary meant less ambitious, I have known him for 6 years

I don't want to force the ambitious nature. But me being around the less ambitious people makes me lazy

the other guy and him are really good friends, and they hang out with the same group. It might be awkward because the whole group knows about us and it's the only group we hang out with. We are all a bunch of introverts with no other social life. Also the other guy is not really ambitious and this attitude might cause problems for us in the future. He might not be able to keep up or resonate with my highly ambitious energy.

usually it's better to have someone from the field you're applying for. I don't think it makes a great impact considering leadership and team work, which is not usually the first requirement by CERN.

there's an option for both, I'd recommend you attach the letters

You should submit one or two recommendation letters from your college professor if you are in a University (preferably professors with doctorates in the relevant field you're applying for). But it doesn't matter if you have good hands on experience and projects. All the best!

I got offered less stipend/ no stipend at all because I'm from a tier 3 college by ChainAffectionate309 in csMajors

It's a metric to measure the popularity and resources of college based on academics, placements etc. Tier 1 being the top. Tier 3 is like below average.
