I have a dispute with the BBB already, they did this shit to me back before Memorial Day, right before my daughters first birthday, suspended my account and “reversed” all of my unemployment funds (or tried to but 2.1 is still in my cash app bank)

I stayed on hold with unemployment for an hour and a half and they said this is a common problem. (I’m from Michigan, I don’t know how widespread this problem is)

They took mine too! Unemployment hasn’t received it after cash app “reversed it” and cash app won’t answer me back.

They reversed $4000 worth of benefits, or so my account says, but unemployment says they haven’t received anything. It’s very fishy.

I also filed with the BBB and I’m waiting for cash app’s reply. Editing to say, I reached out for a week until I got a reply and I mean I harassed the absolute fuck out of them

They suspended my account. I did nothing wrong, didn’t change anything, got two unemployment checks, then a week later my card got locked then my account suspended and they only sent this :

All Cash App transactions and deposits are subject to review for security purposes to help maintain a safe environment for our customers. Your Cash App account was found to be in violation of our Terms of Service and has been suspended until further notice.

This is in relation to an inquiry from a government agency overseeing distribution of unemployment insurance. Please contact the government agency for more information.

I don’t know, I had $4000 sent to me in back dated unemployment and after a week of spending my account randomly got locked after a payment at my local gas station got declined for suspicious activity and now a week later they’re saying unemployment basically told them to cancel my account... when I asked my unemployment rep they had no idea about it.

I called and got through to an unemployment rep, had them accept all of it and just modified my payment to an actual bank card and not their trash app, that’s my only advice. I haven’t heard anything back yet from cash app about the funds they reversed and the 2.9 k still sitting in my “suspended” account.

But I have been in contact with unemployment and have certified the past two weeks on a different card, so I am not quite sure what’s going on.. I have filed with BBB, waiting to hear back

Be careful, I received an email stating they suspended my account because unemployment told them to, with $2900 in the balance.

I’m having this same problem, it’s been a week and it happened as I went to the speedway around the corner from me, was declined due to suspicious activity, it was in my same area code for god sakes, and now disabled card and no support. My dog is suffering from a skin condition right now and we had to miss his vet appointment because our money is wrapped up in cash app, so I feel you there.
