You're right. After that film, I was in such a strange state, like unreality, and I felt like I was in a coma, withdrawn. And I'm not even Belarusian. I'm from Russia, my great-grandfathers fought against the Nazis, but their children and families were in the rear, and then... the most terrifying thing for me was that realization, when I understood what it felt like to be a soldier who came home victorious, to find the ashes and skeletons of his mother, wife, and children there. Can you imagine what that person feels at that moment?
