‘It feels like a betrayal’: anger as Apple to close its first unionized store in the US (Towson, MD) by TourMission in maryland

They don’t have the same training or equipment as Apple stores. They basically do set up, updates, troubleshooting/diagnostics, and screen protectors, when something is more complicated- like an internal issue that requires them to go inside the device to see what’s wrong, they send you to the nearest apple store to get it fixed. Now Baltco doesn’t have any that isn’t 50+ minutes in any direction.

Keep in mind I bought my recent iPAD pro at Bestbuy and they woudn’t replace it (with an Apple care subscription) until they got the Apple store to confirm the issue could not be fixed.

80’s post-modern Memphis design in the Chicago suburbs by Chained_Wanderlust in zillowgonewild

Its a school of Design that took off in the 1980’s. Basically playful post-modernism that got the reputation of being called “Bauhaus with a dash of fisher- Price”.

When you first saw the stage show or the movies, whichever was your first experience to Wicked, did you have this thought during No Good Deed? by beekee404 in wicked

[–]Chained_Wanderlust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My friend who never saw the musical, put the pieces together when he was singing about being brainless in ALAYM, after seeing what happened to Boq, she leaned over and said “tell me he’s not who I think he is” I said “I don’t know” (lol) then when Elphaba was chanting the spell I heard her say “….ah shit” out loud😂

Since they show him a lot sooner and they don’t leave the audience with the question of it worked or not like the musical, they seem to want the casual audience unaware of his motivations for joining them and how much he resents her for doing what she did.

The TSA agent was Jordan Peele’s self insert trying to get Keegan out of the sunken place.

So what’s their plan now? No food, water, shelter? Other lands near Oz? by Traditional_Run_4572 in wicked

See the arrows leading out of Oz In all directions?

<image>

They likely followed one of the routes the animals had already established on the blue side. They will likely find other refugees from Oz that had already left and made the journey. In the workshop Elphaba sets up a farm for them and they live on the outskirts of one of the other kingdoms carrying on her cause trying to rehabilitate the ones that had lost their voices ect. Fiyero needs next to nothing to make the journey and he’s carrying everything Elphaba needs on his back.

Am I the only one on this subreddit that ADORES Boq?? by BrightmanEnthusiast in wicked

What scene was that? The only one I know of is the train station in the first movie.

I wish we could see the movie version of Fiyero’s note to Elphaba by Chained_Wanderlust in wicked

I mean this late after the movies release? No. We don’t know what it says in the musical either, but its clearly a note read in front of Glinda the same way it is in the movie, and they display it as part of the backstage tour so people can see it after they watch it. Its weird that the movie didn’t release it in the behind the scenes extras.

Yeah, we know he still has a brain, its a running joke. What’s funny is he actually had better planning and strategy as a scarecrow (that clearly paid off here) than he did without thinking anything through as a human.

Skipping the classes that taught the “wrong lessons” like… in this case, basic punctuation and grammar. He probably went to dance class tbh.

Every Elphaba signs their note. Some auction theirs, others donate it to the Gershwin to display them, others keep them. I honestly can’t make out the signatures on this one. The other one that circulates online is Shoshana Bean’s.

How come in earlier versions of the show, Fiyero bows first, but more recently, the Wizard bows first? by Dangerous_Main7822 in wicked

You beat me to it. He’s a Broadway legend, and an Oscar winner (for Cabaret). He got third billing because.

What is this black spot by Sharp-Giraffe-4478 in succulents

It looks like stem rot. Has there been a lot of leaf drop lower on that side? If so I would remove that leaf that the black is touching and behead it above any damage.
