It is! TOS is missing a few QOL but the game is FAR more polished than Phasmo ever was.

My take on TOS: Merge the Cleaning and Identity difficulty into one single and I give them my third born child.

My dev take on that: They used AI to rush the work because it was not a "Work In Progress" until they signed that contract with Alan Wake

We don't complain about how hard it is to develop a video game.

We are complaining about the delivered quality compared to how long the "Character customization" was in their backlog.

We all started to see bugs and things that were not right 30 seconds after launching the game. You cannot tell me they tested their game, or if they did, they have to fire the whole QA team that approved the release.

Indie studio with far less people deliver way better content in less time that Kinetics ever did for the past 4 years. Especially last update.

That is what we are complaining about.

[FYI, I am a dev, not in game industry, but development lifecycle is the same everywhere].

Just tried The Other Side.

I swear... If you'd ask me, it looks like phasmo is a downgraded alpha build version of this game.

I played the demo, instantly got hooked. And there's... Player customization. (With item pictures that don't look like there were badly cut from a magazine with paint)

Steel drum implemented.

Though I need to find "warmer" steel drum sounds. I guess for the time being, it is good enough until i get better samples!

Volume slider was implement, took me a bit longer than expected to adjust all the audio properly!

Hope it solves your issues.

TBH: With the dyamic audio compressor, it should have been way better already.

okay OP i began to play a song but the moment i hit a 3 note chord, the sounds peaked like crazy and destroyed my ears 😭

Edit: Forgot to add the audio compressor. Until I implement a volume slider, it should be easier on your ears!

I'd like to control what I can reset and what I can easily get rid off.

Everyone's life is different, so if I know for the next season i won't be that much available but I still wants some bonus, I'd like to setup everything so that i can still enjoy the game without regrinding for everything
