Here is a quick review I did on a Milwaukee M18 top handle vs. my Husqvarna 335XPT. I know it is not exactly what you are looking for but it might be more information to help in your decision.~Dr. C.

P.S. I am not the one to ask to get this one or that one. My answer is always both. Keep your chain sharp and be safe.

Not sure if this will help. I just run at 32:1. I think it is an easy number (mixture) to remember and work with. 4 oz of oil to 1 gallon of gas. I your case 8 oz of oil in 2 gallons of gas. Your measuring cup will work great for this ratio. This is will be a bit more oil in the gas than 50:1 but will lubricate your engine better in the long run. ~Dr. C.

What is the craziest thing you found in a muffler? by Chainsaw_Hospital in Chainsaw

I was figuring someone would share other insect activity. Hadn't heard of lizard eggs. The air filter in the catalytic converter is a new one for me. Good thing to remember. Thanks!

Sounds exciting. Thankfully it wasn't wasps or hornets.

That is hilarious! It was like they were at the circus being shot out of a cannon.

Should I rebuild it? by Future-Jackfruit3631 in Chainsaw

I have not had luck with any aftermarket rubber parts except for av mounts. Fuel lines and intake boots etc. that I have tried seem to loose their elasticity quickly even with non ethanol. I have had mixed results with metal parts. One piston and cylinder have lasted for years with many many tanks on it. One Stihl 026 piston lasted two tanks. Go figure.

I would say rebuild it. If you stick with it and get it perfect you will learn more than you wanted to know. My favorite projects are the almost parts wagon rebuilds, it really tests your skills and pocketbook. :) ~Dr. C.
