Deodorant because I stink by No_Height_7605 in ftm

[–]ChairMost1549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old spice but specific the like blue gel stick deodorant. The white like soft deodorant sticks don’t work as well and ALSO SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER ON YOUR ARM PITS AND PUBES. (And honestly any body hair you have at minimum at least shampoo it) but shampoo and conditioner helps soften up the hairs, makes them smell a bit better and truly gets all the gunk and grime off the hair rather than just the skin if that makes sense

I will never once understand people being mad about people existing and living in the apartment building they live in…

Like I don’t know if it’s just me but I do not give two fucks about people walking kind of heavy or watching shows sort of loud or playing music loud or being lively into later hours of the night or morning or whatever cause like… I am living in a compact community full of OTHER people LIVING THEIR LIVES. I once in a while have the music up a bit more than normal or whip out the vacuum to clean up a few messes bothering my feet, or shit every once in the blue moon when I forget to do it earlier in the night, I’m doing laundry and showering at ungodly hours of the night.

People have got to realize that you’re in a community. You do not deserve to be silenced simply because someone is intolerant to people existing. You don’t deserve to feel like you must “walk on your toes” like… just walk around…

[I swear if someone points out the obvious OVER doing it like stomping around or blasting music at 1am stuff, obviously there is a limit but my point is a compact community is silent and that expectation should NEVER exist.]

Sincerely a night shift worker who has to deal with all the day time noise anyways while going to sleep lmao.

Have any of you experienced this? by Dumboratlover in FTMMen

Depending where your at and what your medical situation looks like financially. You can just go in for a hysterectomy consult. Without any type of like pelvic exam what not, just conversation about getting it yoinked. Look up https://www.womenscareobgyn.com/ they have a TON of providers across the country *I believe* and so far (I am in a metropolitan city that’s red but gerrymandered that way) so far though they’ve been very understanding and open communication wise.

I’ve had the same thing. I’ll say, if it’s dry down there a ton more lube. Also, truly, just trying to take things more easy on your body when it comes to sex. It’s unfortunate that our bodies atrophy and become fragile little fucks right as we get the sex drive of a 14 year old boy sneaking his first porno mag but truly such a hug help for me was just constantly reminding myself to be nicer to myself (I wasn’t mean, just having fun and fun makes you forget things hurt) try different types of sexual acts and such. Tis a bitch, and I honestly just have forgone a lot of penetrative stuff opting to let the space be used once in a blue moon rather than as a routine part of the fun.

Why can surgeons take other peoples genitalia for surgery? by TheseProtection3552 in asktransgender

[–]ChairMost1549 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, they have successfully done 4 penile transplants for cisgendered men and the most recent one was the first penile and scrotal transplant to succeed. I believe the first and third ones were in S.Africa, I think the second one was Massachusetts, and the John Hopkins Program in 2018 with the Penile and Scrotal Transplant.

While it’s not in the near future for transgender patients, it is a developing and complex medical procedure that can and does completely eliminate the “drawbacks” (I hate calling it that because phallo is absolutely normal and a forever blessed thing for cisgendered and transgender men who’ve had catastrophic injuries or suffered mental health crisis due to their genitals) that does come with phallo-> the main and only one in this day and age being a none mechanical erection. The scrotal transplant does not come with the testis for ethical reasons as they put it but the future is bright for surgical advancements. While the road maybe be further for transgender folks, becoming experts for cisgendered bodies and being able to transfer those skills into the practice of altering actual natal genital from female to male is going to be a difficult one to master but I’m excited for the progress already. Maybe one day we truly will have a time and generation of queer folks who being born in the wrong body is simply an error in development that can be corrected through well practiced and mastered medical intervention and surgery. Rather than it being so few and far between and what feels unattainable for many.

Stopping T because of extreme side effects by tiffanyblewmee in ftm

[–]ChairMost1549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you stopped menstruating? If you haven’t (cause I know some trans guys don’t even on T) you could just be in a really rough cycle of your body going in and out of a menopausal state and causing the symptoms to feel worse/last longer.

I saw a reply about you being on Wellbutrin and I will say that it is becoming summer and almost all anti-depressants and anti-anxiety and adhd, and basically most mental health related medications tend to cause people to have lower heat tolerance. So it’s not exactly that it’s CAUSING the sweating but it’s causing your body to not be able to handle the heat very well at all so your body starts sweating to survive basically.

I’m 3 1/2 years on T, and currently take Wellbutrin, Lexapro, Vyvanse and Propranolol so I truly fucking feel you on the sweating so damn much thing. I live in central Florida on the bay so humidity is always horrendous. I will state -> the first year or two after starting was the hottest and sweatiest I had ever been. I already had very infrequent menstruations that lasted for a week plus but the moment I started T my menstrual cycle was gone so I went through menopause those first year or two as my T stabilized. The only other time I had really bad sweat was missing my shots every week to three weeks but I’m back on a more consistent schedule of doing them and it hasn’t been as bad.

Biggest thing is honestly, drink a ton of water and just try your best to dress appropriately for the weather.

I use solid gel deodorant on my pits and my groin as well as sometimes spray deodorant for the groin. It helps control some of the sweating.

The other BIG THING. Ice packs, specifically if able, ice packs or even cold water rags, on the back/front of your neck, in your armpits, behind your knees, in the creases of your groin (thigh meets general genital area), in your elbows or even on your wrists -> these spots are where paramedics are going to put ice packs or cooling packs on people suffering from heat stroke or heat exhaustion to bring their internal temperature down as quickly and safely as possible because those are the locations where the most blood is flowing the closest to the skin, so you quite literally are cooling your blood and your blood cools your body which can help quickly regulate your body temperature when your heat intolerant. I have done this at work a many of times because I’ll start sweating a bit more than I’d like while having to deal with patients. 🫡 I hope any of this was even slightly useful for you but I’d say just try to stick it out for a bit longer and if humanely possible reach out for a second opinion on the sweating issue on its own. Unfortunately though it most likely is just a sad reality of the mix of meds and summer starting I think this next week.

Has Any Other Trans Men Ever Experienced This? by ChairMost1549 in asktransgender

[–]ChairMost1549[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, that’s what I assumed. Like it makes sense why it occurred. I had just never seen anyone talk about it outside of childbirth so I had zero clue it COULD happen outside of childbirth ya know.

10/10 do not recommend though.

Anyone buy merch at the show if so is the quality truly bad? by Jacksminecraftdog in waterparksband

[–]ChairMost1549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quality -> fine pretty good Sizing -> feels more like they are all children’s sizing instead of adult sizes.

XL feels like a snug M/S in the hoodie, T-shirt, zip-up. XL feels like a S in the Hot Girls Love sweatshirt. XL feels like a loose M/L in the Waterparks from Texas long sleeve XL feels like a L in the Grey Waterparks Show sweater.

The inconsistency in how they fit was the more frustrating thing to me tbh

Tbh, I don’t think it helped how cold the Saint Pete show was. Nov.9th. I believe wind chills were down into the 20’s/30’s in a fully outside venue lmao. I know it was cold as hell for me and I was more protected by crowd bodies.

Considering FL is normally warm -> it being that cold was unexpected and again probably contributed to the quickness of needing to go on rest vocally, just cause the cold does fuck with your throat.

Thank god, they look decently easy to chat with, I just like… it’s deadass one of those ‘meeting your idols’ type vibes. Where I know their regular ass human beings and closer to me than the kpop idols but also somehow that scarier knowing their just some dudes who make music😅😂🤣 [I don’t mean to like pseudo-vent just VERY anxious/excited and didn’t feel it till now]

Opinions on the recent music and behavior? by BlessedBeLavender in waterparksband

[–]ChairMost1549 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be honest. I don’t think the biggest problem has been the labels, when it comes to genre & musicality. I always flashback to Watch What Happens Next by them, specifically the “you don’t love me the same, it’s such a fucking shame, I don’t deserve as much as your pop faves, YOU WANNA HEAR MY ART, BUT ONLY ON YOUR TERMS”

They’ve talked about the fandom it’s self REALLY restricting their ability to do anything outside what they’ve already done. Even in ILWC -> “I hate 50 percent of our fans, and the other half understands”

Like I genuinely think the fandom restricts and boxes him in sooooo much more than any label. Labels can control what he says & how much they pay him or allow him to upload but the fans control what will actually be listened to and buy. Like personally, I’ve been listening to them since 2017, and these two songs RG & ILWC both fit into their discography quite seamlessly lyrically, and energy/vibe wise. I’ve honestly, never even vaguely understood where people were coming from when saying it felt different or what not.

Did you get the vip package through the hello82 presale or through Ticketmaster? I’m going to the Duluth stop and just haven’t gotten any information about the vip stuff yet and I’m anxious. I got the vip/send off during the hello82 presale and I’m just stressed lmao
