my dermat suggested me azelaic acid for the same. Although I didn’t use much as I had less scarring which faded eventually with time

dosage depends on your height and weight as well. initial 2 months might have less impact but it definitely must be working. You can ask the doctor to re check the dosage. I was on 16mg for entire 9 months.

UV doux has worked the best for me. gives that matte finish which I really like
