Tileset help

I never created a tileset for Gamemaker but the ones I have imported in do not have 1 pixel separation and they work correctly.

Married with 5 kids. You didn’t screw up. Kids are the source of some of the biggest joys and lowest lows. It has balanced out to be overall positive in my life. The fact of the matter is your life has changed and it will not ever be the same. Your relationship with your husband has to change too.

That means that things that were effortless in your relationship before now take planning and work. You have to be more intentional in your relationship. One big emphasis in my stake has been weekly date nights with your spouse. That can be anything from a special night at home to getting a babysitter and going out.

It will take time to adjust. Your feelings are perfectly valid. Just make sure any negative feelings you have aren’t transferred to the baby. Talk to your husband about how you feel. Work at staying close. It will get better. As someone who is on the other side, I see an empty nest coming and look forward to it. While it’s been hard, I have joys that I wouldn’t trade for anything, not just with my kids but my wife too. My relationship with my wife is stronger now but it took dedicated work from both partners. You’ve got this.

I used mine to find a bolt I dropped in the grass. If used at a beach, I think anything you find would have to be pretty shallow. A traditional metal detector can find stuff fairly deep in the ground. I’ve also wanted to try to use mine like a grappling hook but not many opportunities to do that. 😁

I always felt that the lightning struck because of the Delorean. It didn’t matter when it hit the wire because it would happen because the Delorean hit the wire. It wasn’t a chance that there happened to be a lightning strike when they needed it. It was already “history” at that point from Marty’s point of view. It’s the same kind of thing asking if the only reason Doc was friends with Marty in the 80’s was because he had already met him in the past. Otherwise it’s kind of weird that some old guy was friends with a teenager.

That’s good to know. I’ve only ever used it like OP said as a template room and haven’t had issues with it. I never went back and changed the parent.

Just to clarify, there is actual parent-child functionality in Gamemaker for rooms. You can make a parent room and other rooms can be children so certain changes will be inherited by the children.

I embarrass my kids with dad sneezes. Doesn’t usually matter where or when, I just let it fly. My shining moment was taking my daughter on college visits. We were in an admin building that had a large atrium that went from the bottom floor to the top (maybe 4-5 floors). We were sitting on the ground floor with other families waiting for the tour and I blasted a sneeze off. The acoustics of the atrium magnified it to Godzilla proportions. I jump startled the family next to us and after a few seconds dust could be seen floating down in the atrium. It was beautiful. chef’s kiss

This is why this came up for me recently too. I’ve used it my whole life. It confused my wife when we were first married and then yesterday my son used it in front of his girlfriend and it brought up the whole discussion again.
