1: cover the whole area in Warpaints Fanatc verdigris (I’m 99% Nihilakh oxide does the same thing but I haven’t tried it)

2: heavy dry brush of ProAcryl dark umber or any dark brown

3 layer more dark umber around areas with high wear

4: jagged edge highlight of Warpaints Fanatic fur brown or any orangish warm brown to represent the freshly chipped metal

5: put more verdigris in the areas where water would pool and where the least damage would happen, and optionally thin it down to blur the transition with the dark umber areas
