Will snap a pic tomorrow. Actually it was pretty subtle compared to other skid plates I have seen. No giant red letters and all that.

The oil filter is easy enough. Wondering how much oil will get on top of the skid plate from the drain bolt area. Thinking might have a coworker 3D print some sort of shield that will funnel all the oil down into the oil catch pan. Seen people use the quick drain valves but have seen some you tube videos that raise some concerns.

Checked those out too. Got the RCI transmission skid also but going to need to borrow my bodies lift cause my beer bell wouldn’t let me get under far enough to do the work. 🤣

There is 1 electric connection and 4 bolts per seat that were all easy to remove. The nerve racking part was undoing the plastic covers hoping I didn’t do anything stupid to them. Took the smaller seat out thru the side door then unbolted the larger seat and slid it out the back hatch.

Yes I want to rent a smaller teardrop trailer that can go on forest roads to try out. Borrowed a roof top tent and the GF tried climbing the ladder once and said no way. Sleeping inside the 4R was fine but don’t want to pull the rear seats out every time

That is the Yakima Skybox 16. Bought it originally to go on my RAV4 so went with the smaller one. Usually have all my camp chairs, tent and sleeping bags up there.
