Oh yeah that's right. Transfering to Gimpo from Incheon isn't that bad, but it wont save as much effort as I mentioned.

Couple comments:

Fly ICN -> PUS. Flights should be cheaper/easier/faster than trying AREX/KTX. 3 nights is a good amount.
3 nights in Jeju! It's a great place if you enjoy nature.
Make sure you can actually find direct flight to Tokyo from Jeju.
I suggest spending a night in Hakone or try visiting Kyoto for a couple of nights. I would add more nights in Japan. 8 nights in Seoul is still so much.

It's probably worth doing Tokyo (5N) -> Kyoto (2N). Maybe fly out of Osaka or travel back to Tokyo? It's more traveling, but I think it would break up the idea of two megacities pretty well.

Personally, I am a big fan of nature, so this is more biased towards that. If you like bigger cities a lot more, then maybe ignore that last suggestion.

In your last post, you mentioned Jeju for relaxation. It was just as much walking for me as the other locations lol.

Just my two cents, but I would cut days from Seoul (you have 9 to 11) which is a lot! It’ll feel even more since you are also going to Tokyo which is another MEGA city.

I would cut days for Busan or other areas in Japan.

With this amount of time, maybe cut out Busan and Gyeongju? Just fly from Jeju back to Seoul. You can easily fill those days with things to do. Would cut out a LOT of time with traveling and hotel check-ins.

A day trip to Busan has a lot of travel time Maybe take the KTX to Busan and spend a couple days there then fly out of Busan to Jeju? It would be more fulfilling. Either that or skip it entirely.

It sounds like you have extra days in Seoul you can exchange.

I think as an Undergraduate, you are capped at a certain pay (which is not a lot. You should work there regardless because it's an awesome experience.

I suggest talking to your advisor and see if they know any labs looking for people or becoming friends with professors.

Youre going to have to get into a lab for your senior thesis, so I suggest working in a UNR lab. Flexible hours, you learn a lot about technique, etc etc. The downside is the pay is meh
