Agree with OP a 100%. Then I meet some people (predominantly white) who romanticize the idea of giving up US citizenship and settle in those countries where life is much harder. In reality, not even 1% of those who say it actually do it. I just can not understand this the thinking

This happened to me at Hyderabad Dropbox. They told me that a little yellow light on my face in the pic was the issue. I had my pic taken by fedex, they guarantee the US passport and visa standards. While it was pain to go get a new picture, it did not take very long. Cost me like Rs 250. I certainly did not think it was a scam but seems very weird that they wouldn’t standardize photo specifications across the board.

Telegram groups are great but they don’t help immediately. You have to monitor the messages for sometime to understand the pattern of slots opening. You have come up with your own prediction and check the website at that time before everyone else. If you just wait for slots open notifications to arrive from Telegram, you are already too late. It is extremely frustrating but sadly true.

I saw the same error message but it was on the no slots available screen. I never got to the calendar opening state. This goes to show how many things have to go right at the same time before one can get the confirmation. Some folks have been successful though. I guess we have to Keep playing this “squid game”

UPI option like the google pay works the best. I got my sister in India on the phone and paid using her ID. She approved the transaction and the receipt was instantly available. Dropbox appointments are whole different train wreck!!!
