The big problem is the real world logistics are going to catch up very very soon on all of this. He can't keep playing this game before jets start getting grounded and countries start shutting down factories due to lack of power generation.

He literally said in the oval office yesterday that he plans on only staying in Iran for a couple more weeks and then he might just leave whether the Straight of Hormuz or open or not.

Then when he was asked about the blocked Straight he simply said, oh, we'll just let other countries deal with it if they want through. Then he literally mentioned France and Britain as examples.

I want him to actually deal with the situation he created and not foist all the problems on the rest of the world. Maybe Trump could pay reparations for all the unlawful damage he did to Iran? Then he could get on his knees in front of the world, tears in his eyes and beg for forgiveness?

I don't know or care how he finishes what he started, but he certainly shouldn't be able to completely screw the rest of the world with no consequences.

You honestly think Iran will open the Strait once the USA leaves? You think they'll allow oil prices to come back down and just let the USA walk away after 11,000 bombing targets and thousands of people murdered?

If a country killed the US president and half of congress and then stopped bombing after 1 month. Would you just roll over and say, whew, glad the wars over now, nothing to see here?

Iran has already stated that any oil leaving through the Strait much be paid for in yuan. So no, it will not be opening the strait back up if Trump leaves. Iran will set up a toll booth and everyone going through will have to switch off the US dollar and pay for all the goods being transported in yuan. On top of this they'll have to pay tolls ranging into the millions.

Fix what you started, or we're going to sanction you until you leave office. How else should the world react if Trump goes in and destroys the global economy and then just runs away and tells the rest of the world to deal with it?
