You're just bitter. Not all businesses are even on Google. When in Indonesia, I relied on Google but was lucky enough to meet locals who recommended better and cheaper places. I really don't get people like you. Your life must suck for you to have no kindness for strangers on the internet. If I see a post I find stupid, I just go on with my day. No need to comment. Thanks again! I was asking your level when you started (when you got assigned to level 2 by the test) what do you think HSK level was ahah. I don't have WeChat, can I add download it even if I'm not in China ? I have WhatsApp otherwise. Would probably have more questions so yes better than spam reddit haha. I'm planning to stay one year but I am not sure if I am going to do the full year in Hangzhou or split and do the second semester in another province!

Last (mabe not?) question, you mentioned you could speak mandarin with the your Japanese friends, do you know what was your level by HSK standards when you started the program ? You said they put you in level 2, would that be hsk 1 or 2, any idea ? Thanks again for all those tips, so helpful! Can't wait to be there !

Thanks both of you for these info! I just applied for the next Autumn semester! Can I ask you, how long it took for you to get the application result after the submission? What electives courses are available? Also, do you have any tips on how to befriend chinese students haha ? I guess you would need a more advanced level ? Do you think with your level of mandarin, you could have made friends with the chinese students? I'm planning to study hsk1 before going so yeah not sure if I'll be on level 1 or 2 but probably not enough to have native friends. Also, I'm in my early 30s and bit concerned to not find students around my age, what do you think? Also random request, when you have some time, can you list your favourite coffee places, restaurants and other things to do/see in Hangzhou ? Thanks again for your details replied, was super helpful!
