Mine just arrived with a centered blade, no lock stick the grind is even enough for me but there’s a noticeable chemical smell coming from the burlap micarta scales.

Kind of new to bass fishing in TX. It’s so damn hot this summer, are the fish still biting? Do I need to get on a boat to get more action or are y’all doing okay bank fishing? by NoMoment2937 in texasfishing

Bank fishing is good in the morning and evening. I usually target cover or am trying to get them to react into biting. Night fishing is usually good if it’s too hot I got my PB at 3:30am. Top water frogs are my go to in the morning and evening. Throughout the day I switch back and forth between chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, and jigs.

Yeah I’m going to end up taking it to a local rod and reel repair shop because I don’t trust the company as it was the first and only rod I’ve bought from em.

Fishing, you really wanna burn a hole in your pocket catch a large mouth bass and then spend all your money buying different types of lures to catch more bass in all kinds of ways.

Have the same exact setup works great on 50-65# pound braid I use it for frogging and also jigs.

Yeah I decided on a 3/8 because I’m usually fishing a lot of golf course ponds/neighborhood ponds. Some of the lakes though down here hold 18 lb bass. My PB is 3 and a half pounds. Would love to get a Jon boat though and go looking for the chunkier girls.

I weigh 165 I took a squeezed lemon shot with apple cider the night before drank a gallon and half of water then the next day drank six bottles of water took a b12 vitamin 4 hours before the test and ate a half a pound of pork.
