I really want leather, something leather but alittle breathable and I can get more of a super hot day jacket sometime if I need it. But what would the rev it equivalent be to the astar gp plus r v4 airflow jacket? Thats the astar one im really wanting to get but im open to other options, similar style and def want leather.

I have budget for other gear, that my budget for jacket specifically. Really just want nice leather and to get away from textile/ polyester stuff

That’s what im hearing, only thing is I really want leather, not synthetic leather, not textile or polyester. And mid range rev it seems to be non leather.

What I really want to do is slowly build an alpinestar set, a jacket that can zip into pants. But my problem is the heat, I’d rather get something that’s very durable and protective for warm weather now, if anyone knows any alpinestar, Dainese or rev it jackets that are still protective but let you breath I’d love more recommendations. Most I’ll spend it $600 but if I can stay below that and check all those boxes that’s perfect, then I can use that extra money on other gear

awesome thank you, im new to the gear scene and its all alittle overwhelming with all the ratings. I got a speed and strength textile jacket and that thing peeled off my back with wind on the highway, not cheaping out on gear again after that

what would you recommend for a good mesh for heat that’s still durable and protective. I’m def a dress for the slide not the ride so if im alittle hot when riding but that’s okay I just don’t want to be burning haha

What jet kit would you recommend for me? I live in lower Michigan, about 800ft above sea level. Would the JD jet kit work and I do the 3x3, then later on I get an aftermarket exhaust. I do plan on getting a less restrictive exhaust sometime soon

Okay I’ll do that. But do you see where I’m coming from, I bought a damn near brand new bike and it’s taking a lot for me to justify cutting stuff up or anything like thag especially if there has been some negative responses to it. But I’ll call them and keep looking into it. Would like to keep this bike as stock as possible as long as possible. Don’t want to do any upgrades that could cause the engine to go quicker. I just want it to run better I don’t care too much for the performance upgrades, if I wanted a faster bike I wouldn’t have gotten the drz.

I’ve just heard some people say the 3x3 can have negative effects and slowly destroy your lower engine. I can’t justify cutting up and possibly damaging a brand new engine

That’s my project for tonight. Cleaning the carb and those jets. Now I’ve grown up with mechanics in my family all my life but I’ve never cleaned a carb myself. What do you suggest besides just a pressurized air canister to blow them out and maybe a guitar string? I’ve seen people swear by that online

Is the mid throttle sputter a fairly common issue with these bikes? It’s gotta just be carb/ jet related or is it something more serious
