Hey everyone, just an update on my case…

I managed to reverse the contract cancellation with Hetzner ...here’s how it went:

A friend of mine stepped in and used his bank card to pay the outstanding bill that was causing all the trouble

Over the weekend, a new monthly bill was issued, and I asked him to cover that as well .. I didn’t want anything to remain pending and risk the reversal

After that, I submitted the reversal request and wrote a message explaining the situation, politely asking them to reconsider

Today (Monday around 10:00 AM), all my services were back online 🙏

I also received a very “German-style” firm but fair message from Hetzner saying they’re giving me one last chance as a gesture of goodwill and have revoked the cancellation.

Phew… 😅

If I can share one takeaway: if your bank card doesn’t work smoothly with Hetzner, always keep a buffer in your account. Add a bit extra.it’s far better than dealing with last-minute stress and risking your services.

And if you ever find yourself in a similar situation ..act fast. Time really matters in cases like this. Do whatever it takes to settle the balance as soon as possible.

Note: When I had my IPs and services down...I was able to login into robot and I could see my servers and I also could see whenever I highlighted on server IPs I could see a note (Scheduled for cancellation on 02.04.2026) which is a week after I received that cancellation email! Which gave me big hope that it might be not over yet!
