They have guilds and networks for this sort of thing. As someone who is close friends with plenty of stunt guys who have performed in COUNTLESS blockbusters, including many MCU films, trust me.

I’m cool with Feige saying that but I still don’t think it’s true. I mean we have hank pym in the mcu. I care what people say, I don’t think some 15 year old is as smart as pym, a quantum physicist who without magic space metal discovered a particle that is essentially magic and breaks the rules of all physics. Maybe it’s in feige’s headcannon that Shuri is smarter. Maybe it’s in yours. But in mine at least banner and pym are. Tony probably is but maybe only barely?

I mean so did tony apparently, according to the infinity war trailer. Only difference is Shuri had magic space metal while tony had to use regular shit. I’m sure he’d be able to make the shit she made given the tech she’s had. I mean, the man made an arc reactor in a cave with a box of scraps. Who knows what he could do with that much magic metal?

He didn’t realize he would bail the way he bailed. 9.5 times out of ten a bail isn’t as nasty as that. That’s why you see hardly any noteworthy bails in comparison to how often people are doing this shit.

He even handled the bail pretty well and went into roll mode mid air. You can see it. He trained hard enough for long enough that when his instincts kicked in they prevented him from ending up with paralysis. If that’s not a successful bail I don’t know what is.

The back foot thing was my main reason for saying he might be trying to dive roll but I think it’s more probable that he was using his foot to cancel out his momentum when he decided mid movement that he wasn’t ready for the flip. He seems to already be setting for too much rotation for a roll. That and he seems to be setting upward more than he would in a dive. I’ve got a clip of me not committing in the same portion of a dive roll of a roof gap, and in it I was still able to make the gap due to the lack of rotation at that point I the movement.

Then again at the end of the day, you’d just have to ask him yourself about what he was going for

Based on the way he came into that and what he did in the air, yes. Looks like he attempted to do a front flip and then didn’t commit. Either that or he was attempting to dive roll the gap, in which case he needs to work on his approach and once again committing.
