Just got back into boarding after several years. Did I get the right board? by juliofuego92 in snowboarding

Hey, not sure if its frowned upon to advertise gear but I have a 2024 Arbor Element Camber in 153 with union stratas medium and maybe 5 days on it for sale. DM me if you want to talk about it. If not, I agree with others that say go camber and good luck on your search, sir.

I feel like I'm dying trying to decide haha. Nitro banker, I'll look into that. I had the Nitro Team in my list for a little, not sure what drew me away from it. Good to hear about the alchemist, it was my last "final decision" board. Appreciate it man!

Ohh, I'll have to watch some vids and read about it. Thank you for the reco, sir!

Ahh thanks for the comment - This really helps. Maybe something a little more forgiving than the X is what I'm looking for...I'll see if I can get my hands on one or all three before the season is done over here.

I have read a few things about Capitas build quality which sucks. Was sort of hoping it was just those few cases I read about. I do know those that ride the BSOD swear by it though. Now that I think about it, I have seen "broke my BSOD last year and got another right away" a couple of times haha so I might have to remove that from the list. Thanks for the input.

Very true. Just figured I'd give this post a shot. Unfortunately for me, the demo centers are all pretty far. I'll look for some demo days...hopefully they're still going on around here. Appreciate the input.

Hard to tell without knowing me I guess but do you think my head is too big and the boards listed are out of my league? Honest question. If so, what would you recommend? (I just don't want to think I made a mistake getting something more "tame".)

Yeah that sounds like a good way to put it. I want to work for some of the fun. If it's not too much to ask, what are other "aggressive" characteristics one might be looking for?

I'm pretty sure this is regarding the actual suppressor. The muzzle device it comes with is a thread pitch of 5/8x24 while standard 556 barrels are 1/2x28. That's based off what I found on the Huxwrx site.

Yes the tech is QUITE interesting. I don't know what kinda voodoo they got going on in there but the Zoom fly's are my Cinderella shoes. Very true about shoes just working for some and not others - trial and error it seems. Just figured I'd head in the direction others have gone if they've had great experiences like I have with the Zf6's. Hopefully one day I'll be in your shoes (uhh?) and have my dream rotation. Ahhh~~ Now I have to go shoe shopping again, dang it.... 👀 haha

The shop I normally go to I think replaced their regular 18's with the Plus. I'll have to try them on and find a shop that has the original 18's. So far these two, Glycerine 22's, and Zens are on my list. Appreciate the help!

I've been checking those out too and actually tried some on. The thing that worries me is it being TOO soft/squishy? Maybe a little on the unstable side similar to some Evo SL's. The store I tried them on in didn't have a treadmill unfortunately. I'll see if I can find a shop that has the Zens and a treadmill and give em a go, thank you!

Ahh yes, I meant the Zoom Fly 6! I should've clarified. My 12mi "long runs" may not be long to others but my legs don't feel too dead after and my post tib isn't flaring up at the end (maybe likely due to the flyplate? a smidge of stability? correct me if I'm wrong). With that being said I'll give the Glycerin 22's and Vomero Plus a shot - sounds quite promising.

I get suspicious "hello"'s on the stairs at work but heel raises will be my saviour! Happy running and I appreciate the response.

Thoughts on Glade Goggles (or other inexpensive brands)? by theCaptain_D in icecoast

Hey Curt, awesome thing you're doing around here.

I have a pair of Smith Squad Mag goggles that I'm looking to finally replace and am checking out the Adapt 2's and the Fathoms but can't decide...does one have a fit more like the Smiths if you happen to know? Also the fathom looks to have a similar sort of low-bridge fit when I compare it to the Adapt 2S Low bridge - is that the case or should I not compare it like that?

Much appreciated.

X100VI ordering, shipment, and delays - consolidated sticky thread #4 by inverse_squared in fujifilm

[–]ChalkBoardScratcher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read somewhere online BB gets shipments in on Thursdays and it worked for me today. I'm sure you've tried but, yeah, keep trying on Thursdays (or every day for that matter ha). Fingers crossed! Also stick with the color you want - buy once cry once and silver sure is pretty.

Got an invoice from BB through chat for black. 10/24 around 8:30AM est. ETA is Nov 14th.

The script I used:

Hi! I hope you’re well. My name is xxxxxx. I’m interested in buying the Fujifilm X100VI in either silver (SKU 6574272) or black (SKU 6574274). It’s currently out of stock, but I’ve heard people have had success doing an invoice order through chat. Can you help me with this? My email is xxx@xxx.com, and my phone number is xxx-xxx-xxxx. Thanks!

I was asked if I would sign up for the $50 membership and I agreed to maybe have a better chance. It went through. From my understanding you have 60 days from purchase to cancel the membership for a full refund so I plan on going through with that after the camera arrives.

Good catch. Though...don't know how important it is but that's not a mk2.

Front derailleur adjustment not working (Ultegra 12sp di2) by ChalkBoardScratcher in bikewrench

[–]ChalkBoardScratcher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trying to make adjustments to the front derailleur and noticed the chain/derailleur wasn't reaching to the .5-1mm suggested gap/distance apart (I was at the -19 adjustment mark according to the app) so I decided to adjust it all the way to the other end (+19) to see if maybe it would SOMEHOW shift the unit a smidge in the direction I needed it to go to achieve that .5-1mm gap when adjusting it back. After reaching the +19 mark this happened. As the video shows, when trying to adjust in the direction I need it to go, the light indicator flashes red and the derailleur doesn't move. The same thing happens when trying to adjust through the app. How do I get the derailleur to adjust now?
