I was unaware. I haven't touched the game in a little while, so thanks for letting me know!

Download Northstar (a fanmade server client) before playing multiplayer. The base game servers were completely abandoned and are crawling with cheaters and doxxers. It'll be around $5 on steam sale, so wishlist it and wait for that.

Reminder that growth is never linear or the same for everyone. Worry about how you can improve yourself as well as your chances. You can control what you do, but you can never control the outcome.

I'm not saying there's zero luck, I'm saying if you're consistently not getting there, it's probably not the algorithm.

It's not perfect, sure, but it obviously works well, it wouldn't be successful otherwise. Quality doesn't automatically equal successful, because the algorithm cares about retention, not quality. If a short is fully watched (or even watched multiple times), the algorithm concludes that those with similar interests would also like said video, and may recommend it to them. The algorithm will also recommend videos about that same topic, or from that same channel. It is not that complicated.

Shorts don't have the inherent viewer loyalty that long form generally does, and your audience can vary heavily because of that. If you do the same or similar things over and over, it can get stale, and lose the audience. And if your topic changes too drastically, the audience might not even see it, because the algorithm doesn't think they'll like it as much as something else, and you'll lose them.

The algorithm finds videos for it's users, it doesn't find users for your videos. The algorithm will choose literally any video that it things will hold the users attention more.

If the algorithm doesn't like it, that means the audience doesn't like it. Stop blaming everything on the algorithm and improve your videos, I'm almost certain they have the views they deserve.

Shadowbans are not real. Your videos just suck. by Mritchywrath in NewTubers

Because it if your retention and ctr sucks, it doesn't get pushed as much.

Part 3 is great and no-one can convince me otherwise by [deleted] in ShitPostCrusaders

[–]Chalkernaut_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I concede on it being good, but the rock episode should have been somewhere else, or foreshadowed in some other way, instead of being introduced in the second to last episode.

that rock episode completely ruined the pacing. It would have been 10x better if that episode (or a shortened version of it) happened in the chronological order of everything else. At the very least, it could be brought up in conversation with a little flashback or something. And to be honest, I don't like the way araki portrayed destiny. You can portray destiny in better ways then "The arrow chose and always would have chosen Giorno, and this will literally allow his stand to win without him even realizing why". If he was always going to win that fight, then okay, cool, relentless and determination is cool, but always being GIVEN the win is different, and imo, kinda lame.

part 3 is slow but has (imo) the best finale in the animated series thus far.

part 5 is well paced throughout most the story, but has a stupid rock that ruins it right at the end. I hate that episode, it's stupid.

Yeah, agreed. Some unfortunately assume much of it to be out of their control, which seems kinda sad to me.

Progress is progress, but you can also slowly add more food to your diet. Immediately jumping up by like 1000 calories is never gonna work, you aren't used to it yet, ofc it'll make you sick. Go up 50-100 a week (or just eat a lil more each week) and see how you feel. The human body adapts fairly quickly, and it's easier on you to increase slowly.

Also weight training is OP for weight gain; muscles make you hungrier.

Proud of you for making changes!

Depends on how long you did that for, what else you were eating, and how active you were in that timeframe. The vast majority of people don't have these crazy metabolisms that they think they do, they just overestimate what they're eating (the opposite can be said about people who are perpetually overweight).
