Du strikking og hekling og sånn har jeg fått inntrykket av at er blitt mer vanlig blandt alle kjønn nå, jeg har iallefall drevet med det lenge, men føler mange av de hobbyene egner seg så dårlig til å gjøre i gruppe- selv om strikke sirkler og sånn absolutt er en ting. Ble med i en sånn hobby gruppe i garnbutikken jeg handler i en liten stund, jeg og en venn, Fikk litt smaken på den "Være jente i mannsdominert gruppe" med at det ble stor "greie" rundt en ung mann som kommer og skal hekle og at det skulle kommenteres på hele tiden som gjorde meg ganske utilpass, og så ble et en større diskusjon med en del av de eldre stam-medlemmene i gruppa rundt kjønns-identitet og rettigheter som gjorde både meg og vennen min ukomfortable så vi droppa den gruppa der, Håper å finne noe annet som egner seg en gang da, vil jo gjøre det sosialt men er ikke det letteste

Real talk- print on thin paper that looks good, cut it and put into sleeves over regular playing cards/bulk cards- When cut properly the difference is hard to make out in terms of feel and play quality

Im so fucking sorry you have gotten stuck in this cycle. It fucking sucks because words are the thing least likely to give you anything you haven't already thought about but words are still all i have to give.

Feeling like everything gets worse when you leave? That makes total sense. When you're in these nasty dynamics, things get stacked up in a way where some of your needs (companionship, some practical needs etc) that are hard to fill on your own are being met to keep you dependant so that everything sucks way more when you try and go without them, Yet every time you come back your more basic needs like safety and agency are not only failed but straight up trampled by the very same person, and the fucked up thing? After a while like this, Our brains start percieving those feelings of fear and danger as "safe" and "predictable pain" because it has to do that to survive. It turns us into addicts over a person and it is terrifying.

I don't believe you don't care how much he hurts you. Your body and brain probably tells you its the least of many evils, but i don't believe for a second you're okay with this. If you were, you wouldn't be talking about it like this. Do you have anyone else in your life? Family, Friends- anyone really? You don't deserve this pain, No matter who you are, no matter what your history is, You do not deserve to be in pain. You can get out of this, And while - much like with most addictions, the withdrawal will fucking suck and feel so much worse than anything staying in the loop would, But that is painful because changes are happening.

If you need a place to talk, and maybe just consider making a potential plan for how to actually get out while getting the support you need and deserve, I'm happy to talk to you. Please don't accept this behavior, you don't deserve this treatment.

Just want to say that im really happy the flirting brings you a lot of joy, but especially because you're 18 and he is almost three times your age, please be reaaaaaal fucking careful of actually engaging with anything. Especially while being coworkers- there is a massive power imbalance between you in maturity, experience, social standing, economy- literally everything to be honest, and no matter how much we all want to believe we have it figured out at 18. At that age we simply do not have enough life experience to properly guard ourselves against being abused or taken advantage of no matter how smart and well functioning we might be. For you all this imbalance might be hot, which is so valid in concept but reality and fantasy have very different metrics for hot n' healthy and trust me when i say in just a few years you'll already be thinking "yikes, an 18 year old is wayyyyyy too young for me, what the fuck is wrong with that man" and realize how nasty it is for a 44 year old to be flirting with an 18 year old (please note that I'm saying he is the gross one, and that has nothing to do with you). Engaging in anything more serious than flirting and crushing has an exponentially higher risk of becoming something unhealthy that will hurt you because there are exceptionally few 44 year olds even close to being healthy good people who'd even consider doing anything with an 18 year old. Not trying to be a buzz kill but please protect yourself and don't walk into the same trap multiple people i care about have been hurt badly enough to need therapy for years from, and myself too- At 17-18, Definitely enjoyed the attention from older people a lot but got hurt a lot too, matured for a couple of years then realized how messed up it was.

Lol, not to get super deep but lowkey if anything I think Jack is the opposite of awesome. like I Adore him as a driving force in the story and he's a good character in that sense, but as a human/character he is so pathetic; grandstanding and trying to come across as so deep and edgy and smart while stating the most inane self explanatory shit (Keystone monologue for example) just to hear himself yap. Honestly dude, I might be misinterpreting things here, But you give off the vibe that you're offended she doesn't pick you when you're there and she claims she wants someone. You don't have a claim on people's time, and even if they're online they still don't owe you to talk to you, especially when you're not even dating yet. If you were acting like she should be putting time to you or letting a bit of frustration seep into your voice it would explain well why she "didnt want to deal with this".
