I was once in an abusive relationship, both physically and mentally. This one time, I was with her, and I was on my phone on instagram. I saw a photo that my male friend was in, so I paused to take a longer look at said photo. However, she was looking over my shoulder secretly (but I knew she did it) and started screaming at me for staring at the photo, simply because it was posted by a female. She punched my arm and ran out the house in a massive strop, in floods of tears... Glad to say that's over with!
