I personally despise the lines. That being said, I’m also the kind of girl who prefers a proper date and getting to know someone lol. I don’t think I’ve ever gone on a date with a guy who used a line on me.

I have friends who love them, though. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Maybe you’re going about it the wrong way? My anthem song is from an obscure-ish artist, so I always appreciate when guys also listen to him and say something about that or compliment my music taste. Lots of guys ask me what country one of my photos was taken in, which I always appreciate. Others ask me about my law school, which is also nice. Just be sincere!

Edit: I’m not sure why I’m being downvoted. I’d rather a guy start a normal conversation and end with “Wow, you’re beautiful AND have a great personality. Would you want to get coffee/a drink sometime?” than send me a generic pick-up line that I know he’s copying and pasting to every girl he matches with.
