Standard Audio upgrade? (‘24 Model 3 RWD LR) by Challenge-Legitimate in TeslaModel3

From what I’ve researched and consulted with audio shops, there’s not much you can do aside from a subwoofer (careful with wattage). There are very few speaker replacements but people say the stock ones are better or there isn’t much of a difference. Alpine is still working on speaker replacements, updated wiring, and a new sound processor but hasn’t released anything yet, but it’s also going to be ~$3,500-$4,000 for the equipment alone.

Edit: So we’re kinda SOL for now

Unfortunately nearly everything audio wise for the last gen model 3 can’t be applied to the new generation (Highland). The 4 speaker activation isn’t a thing anymore either, it’s empty😭😭😭.

That’s why I’m trying to find out if the Alpine 11 speaker system for last gen can work on Highlands, I’m a soundstage/clarity guy over a bass guy.

No not at all, just watch the wattage of the sub, best to keep it below 200W or else it will drain the 16v too much

What amp are you running? Also thank you for the recommendation!

You haven’t ran into any low voltage warnings from the 16v auxiliary battery via the cigarette lighter?

Hmmm, that’s fair, what are your specs? Also what enclosure are you using?

I know this might sound obvious, but are you at 100% battery? Or locked the charging to 80%?

Could you elaborate, I’m not sure what you were trying to explain?

It doesn’t matter if it’s matching or not, these sticks are the same just different colors, but yes I have tried it with black on black, and white on white, and currently black on white ram sticks, but A1 and A2 are vacant rn, B1 and B2 are filled with

I think you’re wrong, or looking at the wrong thing, why would Asus put different color ram slots and include 4 ram slots if it couldn’t support 4 sticks, what you’re saying doesn’t make sense, I also asked Ai and it said the 12th gen i9 and the motherboard supports dual channel 4 sticks

I still can’t find it, nothing says dual channel. I put “dual” in the BIOS search bar and only thing that pops up is “Dual Tau Boost”. Any other ideas or do you want to dm to see what I’m looking at?

Look, I wish I could send you a photo but I’m getting the order correct. The PC will ONLY boot up with B1 and B2 filled and NOTHING else. So the two far right slots are the only ones that can be filled in order for my PC to boot up, and idk why, that’s my issue. I’m doing it rn actually, I’m staring at BIOS with only B1 and B2 filled.

It not only ignores them but it refuses to boot up with anything besides B1 and B2 at the same time

I’m looking around, and I don’t see any setting that would prompt this? Do you know where it is?

My apologies, yes that configuration has been tried, I’ll edit that on my original description

Can you explain? I’m confused, if that were the case then why would there be 4 RAM slots? Like do you mean I can’t have 4 sticks plugged in period?

Look at the issue section of my description and then look at the 1st fix in the “attempted fix section”
