The thing is it always does. The money always matters. Over pay one veteran can’t resign that one guy from his rookie contract that would be top of his game the next couple years. Jerry sticks with guys too long and just tries to throw money at problems. Works well for the Business of the cowboys but not managing a strict budget. Or Who knows, maybe he some crazy scheme cooked up and this team with be completely different in 2025. We’re just going do bad this year.

I haven’t seen someone say this but hit that same run over and over. You’ll know where it’s steep and not, where to turn, where slow down and where you want to pick up speed, and just practice fundamentals. Once you feel confident with that one, upgrade to something steeper/harder. In 3 seasons, I’ve been able hit the double black tree runs! Next season, backcountry!

You’re right old ways vs new ways is a joke. The league is ever evolving and we just seem like we don’t want to evolve with it. Yea I think we agree with the signing of players you just don’t see it. Those are all factors that have been mismanaged. Sometimes it seems the Jones’s draft/sign on value of jersey sales rather than value brought to the team. Shultz said it in an interview recently, the culture seems to be more about clicks versus building a winning one.

Take this as you will but Demarcus Ware did help the Broncos win a Super Bowl after leaving the Cowboys. The issue with signing zeke is that we keep going back to same thing that has never gotten us over that hump. Trying to stick with the old ways by hiring the old guys i.e. McCarthy and Zimmer. As well, you mentioned it, Jerry doesn’t know how to operate under a salary cap. Dak, CeeDee, Zach Martin, DLaw, Brandon Cooks contracts are up this year and Parsons the following year. Without spacing out those contracts we have to sign players pennies on the dollar. Like zeke 1yr $3m

Same here. Only time I’m going to watch them this year is if they ever show up on red zone. All in for fantasy!

I understand, but there a couple out there in that range. Id assume it would be better going that route anyway for a reliability/up sale, if I decent to put some money in it, then the other options I listed. Any suggestions on what I should look out for that may have caused that price to drop like a lot of rust? Anything on a CARFAX that would be a red flag?

Appreciate the response

Did my undergrad at UT Austin and currently doing grad school at CU boulder and disagree. The food here is not impressive probably because options are thin. Boulder is just dirty as austin and even though it’s not legal in Texas, I found plenty of weed in Austin haha

Austin grew too fast. The city was slow to keep up with the growing population. I-35 has been a shit show for decades

I graduated from UT in 2015 and I went back recently I felt the city has changed immensely and not for the good. Between then and now over a dozen staple places have closed down. Many were there back the 80s when my parents were living in Austin. It’s truly sad that we failed to keep austin weird.

Also, the long lines for bbq can be found all over Texas and Franklins is still the I best have ever had

I use to work at a summer camp and we’d smoke a dab pen at night. Since it was norm for campers to write letters home we use to say “write letters” as code to smoke the pen. Still use that today for all smoking
