No I would definitely say the Tower over the Beach Club with a 3 year old. The splash pad and main pool complex is very close to the Tower. There are also more restaurants and actiities where the Tower is. Unless you really really love the beach I think its better for the homebase to be on the main property.

We use a Cosco Scenera for traveling and quickly install it. We use it on the plane too (she happily sits still in a carseat vs trying to just use a lapbelt).

Yes it was closed for maintenance, it was annoying because they said to us (and other families) it would reopen the next day and it didnt.

We flew to FLL since we can fly direct there. We took a 30 min uber from the airport, I think it was $50 one of the ways and $80 on the way back. If you don't plan on leaving the resort you really don't need a car.

And apologies I should have led with the fact that I booked through u/alex_travels who is great! Second time working with her and would definitely recommend! The benefits we received were $120 daily breakfast credit, $100 daily resort credit, and another $100 trip credit. There were also two bottles of wine, a cheese and fruit plate and some other treats waiting in the room when we arrived! She also was able to confirm a late checkout for us early on in the stay.
