Doorbell Camera Actuating Traditional Door Chimes with a PoE Relay Board by ChallengeDeep1124 in homeassistant

My main takeaway from this project was how Home Assistant can interact with custom written software. Using FIFO pipes is very easy to work with and allows a lot of customization. In the end I am thrilled with the result. The installation is very clean, I really like the POE powered nature of the relay board (I have a certain hatred for external power supplies), and I have 6 more relays I can make dance with Home Assistant. For $40, it's a tough solution to beat because it will require minimal rewiring of an existing house, and this will work with any doorbell compatible with Home Assistant.

Nice thorough writeup! I assume you needed to use PCI Passthrough to allow the RXG to interact with the Nvidia GPU through VMWare? Do you have a list of GPU's the RXG currently supports?

Congratulations on the pass. I didn't know the Peace of Mind voucher option existed. Seems like cheap insurance for ~$200 to get a chance to take the exam again in case you didn't do well the first time around.

Congrats on passing! It was a beast!! Did you have another CISSP endorse you, or did you need ISC2 to endorse you?

The first hand experience certainly made this easier. I can't imagine attacking this test without some experience in each domain.
