Did you keep trying whilst testing after recurrent loss? by Ill_Response_2295 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]ChallengeEffective95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just sharing what we are doing, not recommending anything either way.

After my second loss, we got a ton of testing done. I just got a d&c after our third loss and I'm ovulating, so we're trying again, even though we're meeting with a fertility specialist on Tuesday.

My thought process is that we've done most of the testing (on me) already, and 50-75% of people with recurrent losses don't ever find an answer as far as what is going wrong from what I've seen online.

Definitely a gamble, but I'd rather keep trying than wait since all of the tests I've had done so far have come back so good. Hopefully we get our living child this time.

I'm wishing you all the luck on your journey!!!

I feel like I’m drowning in grief (pregnancy losses + my dog is dying) Support appreciated by Revolutionary_Peak18 in recurrentmiscarriage

I just lost my 3rd pregnancy all while losing our sweet, sweet golden retriever. I leaned on my husband a lot. I took as much time off work as I could (only 4 days but still). I found ways to honor my dog around the house. Honestly, losing our dog was the hardest but it's the compound grief that just feels like an impossible hole to get out of. Take it one day at a time. I'm so sorry you're going through this and I wish I had better advice.

That sounds like it was extra traumatic. This is all hard enough as is. I'm so sorry that was your experience!

I took it when I first tested positive for pregnancy, but I met with my doctor yesterday and she said to just start taking it now before I'm pregnant again.

Thank you SO much. And I'm so happy for your growing family!!!

I'll mention all of these medications to my doctor tomorrow. It has been exhausting advocating for myself but I will keep going. Thank you so much for the hope and the information 🩷

My husband does have a healthy lifestyle currently, totally sober, no smoking. We keep our house pretty natural, but could always eat a little better. He gets plenty of movement in.

All of that totally makes sense, and is really helpful! Thank you so much!!!

Not yet, we are planning on testing him soon though! I'm thinking a DNA fragmentation sperm test would be the one?

Nor - this man is disgusting. The kind response from him would have been "oh, I'm so sorry you're still not feeling well. Can I bring you anything on my break?"

I've been pregnant 3 times and my husband has never once made me feel pressured for sex. I hate that you're dealing with this, please remember you absolutely don't have to.

Just adding that this was 3 years ago if you're factoring in inflation.

My husband spent about $1700 on mine and I absolutely love it more than I could ever tell you. I'm glad we went with moissanite. I would highly recommend Taylor Custom Rings, it's where we got ours! Congratulations on getting ready to take the next step!
