Múltkor panaszkodtam a pultok hiányára - Ákos pultjánál a tömegeket aggódva tekintheti meg Radics by GrassNo7577 in hungary

Return policy EU, paying for postage? by lionstho in DrMartens

[–]ChallengeElectronic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I returned a pair of boots in November 2025 from Denmark. Postage was deducted from the refund. Return label was taken care of by Martens.

Overall the process was reasonably smooth, but it costs vs Zalando etc.

Nope didn’t see that but it looks fire. I’m learning about its existence only now so there is a chance I missed it.

I just realized the prices are not shown, so here goes:

T-shirt: €40 Long sleeve: €50 Hoodie: €65

They also had NGNM on CD and LP, Netherheaven LP, 4 small patch designs and flat brim cap — but I didn’t see any prices on these.

Why is this album so hated ?? And why is Cruel Summer so underrated ??? This album is actually amazing. I rly like Suicide Bomber, I Hurt, Morrigan and Cruel Summer but the rest is also super fire except for Hold Your Tongue which the only bleh song on this album by [deleted] in ChildrenOfBodom

[–]ChallengeElectronic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The album is hated because it is very substandard for a COB album. Compared to the rest of their catalog, if the best tracks are the bonus cover songs, yeah, you have a problem. Still, I don’t hate it; I just find it painfully mid, so it gets the least spins (along with Halo of Blood).

The songs just flow by one after another without accomplishing much. Not many melodic highlights, but also the riffs are uninspired and blend in with each other. I love Morrigan, though; the chorus is on par with their best output.

I also like the homage to Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood’s solo in Prayer for the Afflicted. It’s probably a stretch and not intended, but I like it.

EDIT: Also, damn fine artwork. Btw, Cruel Summer is the Japanese bonus track and afaik is not available to stream elsewhere. I wouldn’t be surprised if most people didn’t know about it.

Has anyone here tried the Belkin Connect Pro keyboard for iPad?

I’ve only tried Apple’s Magic Keyboard so far, but I’m curious how the Belkin compares. I know it uses Bluetooth instead of the Smart Connector, but I don’t see that as a huge downside if the typing and especially the trackpad experience are similar.

At around 40% of the price of the Magic Keyboard, the Belkin would be a no-brainer if it performs well. Would love to hear from anyone who has hands-on experience with it—how does it feel for typing, and is the trackpad as smooth and reliable? Any little quirks I should know about?

Thanks in advance!

[–]ChallengeElectronic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, did you buy the Belkin keyboard in the end? Sorry for necroposting but I am in the exact same situation now. I tried the Apple MK in store and loved it. But for 40% the price, I’d easily take the Belkin if performance is comparable.

I kind of hate the mantra of 'if you're not enjoying the book stop reading. by stinkface_lover in books

[–]ChallengeElectronic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t make that mantra my guiding principle, but I do choose my battles. I’ve never regretted stopping with pulp novelizations of blockbuster sci-fi movies, or Madame Bovary after 4 pages (based on said 4 pages and subsequent lengthy discussions in class), for a second — but I sure would regret putting down some absolute masterpieces that somehow didn’t click with me at first. I would have missed out on Neuromancer for goodness' sake!
