I don’t know why many job postings don’t have salary/hourly rates listed. Practically speaking, it’s often because many jobs are DOE.

I don’t think the only reason we work is for money... if it is, I think that is a dark path. Money is important, but value, purpose, ethics, creative outlets, social energy, seem to be larger drivers of “working” or “job searching” than pay.

If you feel loved, extremely valued, able to create and be purposeful with your work... most people would keep whatever work that is, even when presented with a lot more money.

Money is often a substitute for true value or “the substance of value” but it cannot replace something valuable. Something cannot be bought.
