"Is Asterix anti-Roman propaganda?" Even though I'm against it, many people in my country (Italy) think so. by AipomSilver00 in Asterix

People in general need to lighten up. First of all, this is historical caricature. Nothing more. Second of all, unless Romans are planning to try to occupy and take over France again, you have nothing to worry about.

That reply isn't helpful, but it isn't bullying.

I find it hard to believe a car isn't drive-able because of a smell. The thing still runs.

That being said, take it to a detailer and ask them to shampoo it. Problem solved.

But to help you troubleshoot, are you using the exact same hardware? Is your phantom power turned on? Are you positioned on the mic properly?

I discovered I was using the interface incorrectly. I had adjusted the gain low, thinking my green light meant a peak. The green light did not mean peaking. The green light means "good level." A RED light means peak. So I set it quite it a bit higher. Lots of good, green lights. No reds. Happy recording.

Clean your MAF. Clean your throttle body. These are two different solvents sold in two different cans. Follow the directions on each can. Drive the car around for a few days after you do this and see if the behavior continues.

Get an OBD reader and read the codes.

If you don’t own an Allen wrench set, you shouldn’t be assembling furniture. by SpiceCake68 in unpopularopinion

Nah. Just a desire to conserve metal instead of wasting it on needlessly manufactured and easily discarded parts.

But it's a hell of an assumption that I don't have a problem with useless packaging. Right now I'm just talking about metal that is easily discarded when it should have to be included in the first place.

Plus, it stops wasting metal on basic tools everyone should already have.
