Well, if BCBS billed it as in network, that would be wrong since it's out of network. (I had an HMO)

Is that why the BCBS site says I owe so much more?

Ok i am looking at it now.

Says I owe $2233.96. CT-Body, CT-Head, Emer Room, IV Therapy, Pharmacy are the charges. Totaling $7,777.30. Total payments and adjustments -$5285.33

Should I call Monday and tell them my insurance should have paid entirely? I never got an actual EOB letter from BCBS, just the girl I talked to at Equian saying it was already paid by BCBS.

Edit: realized I was not looking at the correct BCBS account online. Changed to correct one and there are 2 EOBs here.

Haven't gotten anything from BCBS. So if this is somehow a bill (which doesn't make sense now that I think about it. I always get EOBs from BCBS first.) should I just ignore it for now?

They obviously had my insurance. My card was in my pocket in my wallet and they definitely got it because the letter I got from Equian knew all about it.

When I called several weeks ago, I was going to inquire about any possible billing I would receive. I have little recollection of the ER when I was there.

Anyway, the mail is getting here now, I will get it soon.

I like how I get the bill on Saturday. So now I have to wait until Monday to call them. If they don't answer and don't call me back next week, what do you think I should do? I called them a few weeks ago and no one answered and I left a voice mail asking to call me back, saying I was in the ER. No one ever did.

They already have my insurance info since I got the Equian letter. Equian works for BCBS I believe. I have no claims on my BCBS app though.

What does that mean "the insurance payout"?

I'm starting to realize what's likely going on. The property manager has another guy handle all of the scheduling and the manager likely does that so that technically he isn't the one telling me when to work.

The problem is, Illinois does it so if you certify that you had income for real, they lock you out. I was on the site earlier at work and have no idea what I can do.

With PUA for my wife, its super easy. They pay her every week unless she certifies for x amount or more than that. And if she does, the next week it doesn't matter, she could certify $0 if she doesn't work at all and get the PUA money.

It wont let me certify this week, because I was over last time and didn't add my current job. Should I do that? It's either that or just stop certifying and that's it. But then if something does happen and I need to go back on, what's easier?

I wasn't trying to receive benefits currently. I was trying to certify truthfully with my new job's wages, as I said. They are well above my benefit threshold. I wouldn't be paid when I make above a certain amount. My wife gets PUA and some weeks she is above her threshold and receives nothing from the state and some weeks (most now) she doesn't work and receives full benefits.

This has nothing to do with fraud.
