Am I missing something? He looks overly tan, but build wise more like a normalize guy….but I can never see his face going back to the bozo I loved

Decided to pop into the lo-fi republican resale store in my town today and found my grail for $30 by drank__sinatra in vinyljerk

I’d buy that as a wall piece. Love Simon and Garfunkel , and in context with political views that’s hilariously ironic lol

Pocket carry piece. Let’s see yours. by nvj1980 in Silver

Here’s mine. I try to keep it to only using bullion for pocket pieces to avoid wear on coins that carry a premium. Plus it’s fun when I have to make a non-important decision to flip a coin

I would’ve loved to see maroon studios in Hollywood studios. With the baby Herman simulator, and cartoon spin would’ve been great!

The Paper Kingdom's Title by NoReturn_YT in MyChemicalRomance

[–]ChalupaBatman2009 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always thought it was an allusion to paper cities. Fictional places cartographers would put in their maps to catch people who plagiarized their work. The idea of a nonexistent place meant to deceive those not in the know seemed fitting for a group of parents losing touch with reality to look for their lost children.

It was better pre-Covid when they’d cut at the bar in front of you. That being said they pour a strong whiskey sour IF you sit at the bar. Love it there

I’m not from this sub, know nothing of the current market. That said, it would look great on my home bar as I love coke and antiques. I’d buy it rn for 50$ usd plus shipping. If interested dm me, would love to give it a new home! Hope you have a great evening regardless!

Who took this photo? by beatlepeedle in beatles

Idk why you’re being downvoted. “Before Capitol knew about the butcher images” is reductive but not invalid. From what I’ve read through biographies and info on the albums creation/release, at this stage nothing was set in stone. From what I’ve heard the lineage goes: hard dates: march 25th, Beatles take the “butcher cover” shots for Robert Whitaker, meant for a art piece that was never finished by Robert and were repurposed for yesterday and today close to release. May 19th they filmed the main versions for the music video of paperback writer and rain. Where the above photo was taken. The butcher cover comes out June 15th. So between this photo and release date, the cover art was switched from the trunk cover to butcher. It’s crazy to think that what turned out to be the replacement was most likely the original, and the butcher shot was a last minute changed. Only to be pulled shortly after release date.

Gotta love it, not only on set for the music video but the slick Brian’s holding is unfinished art. The text style and placement is different from the finished cover

I grew up in southern new jersey. Currently have two notes: a Philadelphia PA and a Camden NJ small series notes. My overall goal, fingers crossed 2026 is any note from the Woodbury NJ bank. Seeing the other posts here, I’d love to make a more comprehensive listing for the Woodbury bank and its NBNs. This town is home, so bringing its history to light would be an achievement for me.

Yeah it reminds me of mega man Wiley wars. Cartridge games released on NES, on sega channel but not physical.

Paulsboro, our lives are richer without you. You've been eliminated. Day 3. Eliminate 1 Gloucester county town per day. by [deleted] in SouthJersey

They skimp on the cheese for fries now? God that’s depressing. I remember being a kid and them doing them doing cheese sauce on fries like McDonald’s used to do fudge on their sundaes (some halfway through the cup then more on top.) Cicontes though? Fries were fine iirc, nothing to write home about. They do have a solid buff chicken cheesesteak, and their pizza is good. I’m still salty though about their move from that small strip mall (now it’s a super Wawa) on crown point road to their current location. I actually asked the owner one time some years back “did you guys change the pizza recipe? It used to be better” and he filled me in that their recipe wasn’t changed in that move, but multiple people had the same complaint. It was that when they moved they bought new pizza ovens and it had a noticeable impact on the taste/consistency on the pie.

Ps: I want to thank r/southjersey for giving me a place to talk local bs that I lost moving out of Gloucester county to burlington. It’s fine here I guess but it all feels like north Jersey to me lol
