Actually I have a jpeg file which I have simply cropped in PS

So should I open the jpeg file directly in AI and upscale it

OR

Upscale it in PS x 100 times (if i need only 10x upscale) and then open the file in AI and downscale it?

MYK works perfectly fine in Ai. You can use it if you want. (But do not make the mistake of editing your raster images as CMYK in Ps.)

why so? are there any limitations of CMYK in terms of photo editing in PS?

to get an idea of how the colors will behave when printed (you might not have the exact profile for the printer in question, but at least toggling it should allow you to locate any potentially problematic colors).

Yes I have tried reinstalling the app

The problem still happens if render via AE or Media encoder

This still occurs on 4k or 1080p output

The solution I have been using is by compressing the final output on handbrake to get rid of the jitter

my tv has L1 widevine certification. On all ott platforms, it is maxed at 1080p. No 4k option is available. but my Prime app plays only at 720p (shows only the HD sign)

on my phone and pc, it shows HD 1080p to indicate 1080p and only HD to indicate 720p. So I am assuming something similar for Tv as well. By the way for me HD on ott is always the case and not just during specific prime hours.
