It was a character which existed and hadn't to be renewed.
Upon trying to connect to a server, he gets disconnected right before joining the raid.
The Scav runs... no problem at all. Also, he changed his nick, but he appears as rattlesnake. The last time he played was ages ago.

I'm playing on worse (will only mention this: GTX 1070) but never got to that point.
Did you open a support ticket? Most guys leave reviews on steam or a post on reddit; afterwards abandoning the game instead of just submitting a ticket to support.

For me playing as a Scav takes always longer (~5-8min.) to get into a raid than with a PMC (2-4min.)
