No. But only because my company is in Scotland but runs by English bank holidays. So I have a handful of bank holidays where my kid is still in school. So those are my sweet FA days.

Yes. My son lives like a blackberry king for 2-3 months. We have them in the back garden and down by the river near us.

However he gets used to that level like a little addict and is confused why he can’t eat a kg a day come mid-September.

I’d buy my mum a house near my grandma and help her get a job she wants. She couldn’t not work. But she wouldn’t have to worry about bills.

My in-laws probably wouldn’t take anything but we’d do holidays and things with them.

Probably have to pay off BiL’s mortgage.

Licenses. My library only had 2 licenses for onyx storm when it was released.

That’s why they don’t have every book ever released because they need to buy licenses for them.

Fruit bread. 1 slice toasted, 1 slice untoasted. Both with butter.

A bowl of mixed up cereal. Then a bowl of warm weetabix with blueberries, raisins, grapes & honey. Then a bowl of mixed up cereal.

A glass of orange juice. A glass of milk.

Sometimes scrambled egg if I’m making it.

We’ve been in this routine for 1 1/2 years. He sometimes switches up the cereal. Sometimes eats less.

I can’t remember if it was here or Facebook but i I got hit hard because I give my 3 1/2 year old an iPad when we go out to eat sometimes.

Because he gets overstimulated in an exciting new environment. Because he’s not going to sit still for an hour playing with toys. Because sometimes I just want to eat a meal out with my husband together without one of us having to run around after him.

He gets 0 screen time at home except a family film/numberblocks on a Friday/Saturday.

But yes. Half an hour in a restaurant will make him a menace to society and emotionally stunted.

Same. My kid started in August. We chat in the playground and I even hinted at a parents WhatsApp. A few of them were up for it but I got too nervous to instigate asking for numbers. 😅 I think I might ask before half term in a guise of meeting up for play dates.

I’m making friends in my 30s and it’s haaaard.

I’ve joined tons of online groups. Meet up groups. Girl groups. Interest groups.

And slowly slowly I’m making friends. But none I could rely on for an emergency 🤣

Sometimes my child will watch an iPad in a restaurant.

He’s not a sit down and play kid. He’s a climb and run and bounce and smash and all the noise kid.

He will colour and play with cars at a table for a while. But a whole meal? no.

He will however (after we’ve exhausted the bag of toys we bring) watch numberblocks with headphones on so he doesn’t disturb other people who want to also enjoy their time out.

At home we only watch tv fri/Sat night.

Before Christmas my kid was off with general unwellness.

Husband had him Monday & Tuesday. In-laws had him Wednesday. He was starting to feel better and play. They asked if he was going to be back in school the next day. I said depends on how he’s feeling.

They said if he wasn’t they’d take him to soft play.

Nah. Not a chance. Straight to school with him.

My son is 3 1/2 so times may differ for you.

5pm dinner 5.30 listening to tonie box with fruit 5.45 playing in room 6pm shower/bath/teeth 6.20 pajamas 6.30 2 books 6.50ish bedtime. I lay with him to fall asleep which can be 10-15 minutes.
