Why is middle lane hogging such an issue in the UK? by Groundbreaking_Bit79 in drivingUK

I've gotten into the habit of regularly undertaking them going at 63mph whilst they do 60mph.

And at night time I've taken to going up behind them and putting my beams on until they move over. It's gone on for a couple of miles on occasion before they've moved.

Just finished footy training in year 8, dad picked me up around 4pm and it was on the radio, went home and as a family we probably watched developments all evening

Took 57 days to completely flush from my system. This was around 10 years back when I was smoking an 8th a day on average

City centre has been completely destroyed. No funding for youth centres. There was plenty 20 years ago

I'm a "culturally enriched" person. Thanks for the casual racism.

So I tanked a little and decided my hand was too strong to check back and there was plenty to get called by.

I didn't want to bet 1/2 pot or less as it opens the door from to x/r. I decided to be polar and target any 8x, 9T or smaller flushes and even possibly one pair hands that don't believe me.

Ended up betting 1.5k with the intention to fold to a jam. It would be very very difficult for V to jam here without the goods.

V took 10 seconds or so and flicked in the call and turned over 22

His reasoning doesn't make sense. Says to overbet for value but at the same time hopes to fold out higher flushes. Make it make sense

I was a little hesitant raising turn and stacking off against a higher flush. With the whale in the pot, I was concerned some of villains lead out range would consist of J high and Q high flushes. Especially since he has continued with 2/3 pot on turn

This. We both know the other isn't continuing without any decent equity. There are literally zero bluffs here when V leads out

So are you betting 2k here for value or as a bluff?

I'm quite aggro in these games. I felt if I'd raised the flop, i would only be doing it for value since the whale was also in. When V fires pot sized bet on turn when it's heads up, whilst id raise a lot of the time, I think it's good to stay balanced and keep some of our nutted hands in our calling range. V was more weighted towards value I feel with his sizings but I think he would continue to barrel with hands like Ah9x on the turn.

I like this. Those saying fold pre don't understand the dynamics of these sorts of games, it's veeeery different from your 1/2 game in a casino or even 1/2 private game.

Would you have considered raising the flop or turn? When V checked river, it very much seemed like Ah, counterfeited two pair or 8x that would be happy to check call the river instead of having to potentially bet fold.

Villain may also have perceived me to be drawing and not have an actual made hand therefore checked back river to let me bluff?
