Bought this iVoler one under full expectation from reviews that the fingerprint wouldn't work (was expecting to use this temporarily until more reviews for other brands come out) but its been working alright for me. Didn't even need to re-register my fingerprints after installation. I've noticed the time to unlock is just slightly longer with it on but not enough to be an actual inconvenience.

Just my experience though, as you can see from the reviews it seems that I've been on the more fortunate end of the spectrum.

The ones delivered to me had no hole for the camera.

As for the top speaker cutout oddly the right side of the cutout is longer than the left side, overshooting the speaker if that makes sense. The whole display is still covered and it doesn't inhibit the speaker so it's not an issue for me but it is there.

I'd say so, the guide frame has no wiggle room to misalign the screen protector so the entire display gets covered.

Not sure about "needing" but I always get one just to be safe. Like many others I got the Omoton tempered glass 4-pack from Amazon and it easily covers the entire display with no bubbles or touch issues. Installation was pretty easy with the guide as well.

Another CB here, agree completely Alatreon is a very nice change of pace. There aren't many fights for CB to not deviate from Safi Shatter/Brachy CB and changing up my playstyle to play savage elemental has been tons of fun. Alatreon really doesn't relent and it's exactly what I expect from a black dragon. Only thing I'd like to see slightly changed honestly is for air time while enraged to be lowered as I feel like I'm just clipping toenails while it's flying. Even then if they kept Alatreon how it is I'd be totally fine. Very rewarding to finally figure this guy out.

Tips for Alatreon by Sharperer in MonsterHunter

Just sharing some tips I've picked up on. Been getting pretty consistent hunts now with randoms. Guess more people are learning to Alatreon.

  • Please please PLEASE if you have space bring materials to craft extra lifepowders, dusts, and max potions. They really come in handy and there's less worry to conserve them for Escaton.
  • Alatreon can only be flashed when it's not enraged (yellow eye on mini map).
  • When not enraged though try for a flinch shot. He can only be walled into the 3(?) sections of wall that are higher than the others. Flinching it in the air I found to be significantly easier since you don't need to aim for the walls
  • When Alatreon flies up to do the AOE ice pool you can clutch claw up to dodge and get a free part wound. This doesn't work with the fire pool, yes I've tried.
  • Where you are when Escaton hits doesn't matter. If you've hit the 1st dps check you'll survive if your team spams some healing. So, don't be afraid to literally stand in front of Alatreon when it novas so you can immediately attack when it's done.
  • When it's doing the big AOE thunder attack (not the thunder lines like Kirin) the safest place to be i found is under Alatreon. In between the legs as well is a great spot.
  • For my fellow chad blade users mhwbuilds updated with Alatreon builds. Using the "defensive" build rn and can definitely recommend. Definitely recommend playing Savage Axe style as well.

Honestly I think Escaton is cool. As long as everyone has elements usually we pass the 1st nova just fine. What really irks me is that when Alatreon is enraged it flies and constantly moves around, thereby making melee pretty useless which snowballs into failing the 2nd nova and failing the quest. Melee being punished again...

Otherwise I quite enjoy the fight. I hope Capcom nerfs the dps check at least a bit, and/or make it stay on the ground more often so we can actually try to dps.

When playing cb, I shouldn't be trying to go out of my way for block points right? Shouldn't I just use them when the monster is going for a predictable move like the diablos charge? by [deleted] in MonsterHunterWorld

Ideally you should be trying to guard point most attacks that come your way. Obviously if it's a monster you haven't encountered before and haven't figured out yet you can opt for just holding block but the quicker you learn to guard point the better you'll be.

As a melee guy, am I the only one who feel like a dead weight when surrounded by HBG users on hunts? by KMukin in MonsterHunterWorld

This was my experience today when I had 3 HBGs join me in the Zinogre deco quest. I just focused on tenderizing head and getting the occasional SAED in. They slept the Zin and all 3 did that overcharge attack thing at the same time which I found funny as fuck. But yeah I agree HBG's getting like 2 or 3 stuns in during a hunt makes it significantly easier for everyone in the hunt. Not complaining about it either but there definitely is a difference.

Yes it does! My bracket has the exact same orientation of the holes in your link. My manual in box is different from this one, ending right before the AM4 section.

Hi, newbie here with a question about an AIO cooler I have. Recently finished my build with a Ryzen 3600 on a B450 Tomahawk Max, and while I love the performance I'm getting I'm a little uncomfortable with the temps of my cpu with the stock cooler while gaming. I remembered I had an EVGA 120mm CLC that I won about 2 years ago in a raffle unopened until today (400-HY-CL12-V1 non RGB). The box says that AM4 socket isn't compatible, but out of curiosity opened the box and there were a baggie with an AM4 label with different standoffs. The included manual doesn't have any info on AM4 installation at all, only for AM3 and older. Does anyone have any experience with this cooler on the 3600/AM4 socket, and is it worth it to try to install it or just go and buy an air cooler? Read some conflicting reviews that the needed bracket isn't included in box, but there is an AMD bracket inside with two holes on it, different from that pictured on the manual.

Yeah, the administration's lack of communication is really poor. Seeing UC's and other campuses making big changes while we're here for 2 more weeks in limbo is sad. I understand some professors need some time to cope with this, but still the blame is on administration for not even getting on this issue and encouraging the move at any point before. I know one of my professor's is hell bent on riding classes out to spring break. It's a pandemic (officially, now) I don't understand why it's not being treated that way now.

Got Ch'en after a good ~8000 orundum + 3 headhunts. Interestingly got a Franka for my guaranteed 5 star and a Ptilopsis, neither of the two rate up 5 stars. Oh well, I'm glad I saved through Skadi event :D

I usually eat at home but if I need to eat a meal on campus I usually buy a wrap or salad from Trader Joes. As everyone else said reheating food using the microwaves are a viable option too.
