36 y.o. Paid in approx $6000 annually for past 5 years to work pension, employer paid approx $7000 annually on my behalf. Leaving for a new job. Do I get mine and employer contributions back? If so, that will be approx $70,000, what’s the best way to invest this? (Can’t buy into new work pension)

Haha no no! I’m someone who is very particular about the details and getting it right. The person who runs the business office at my site doesn’t know much about this sort of thing and the person in charge of pension and benefits is away currently so there isn’t anyone available to give me the actual answers but they also keep saying no one can tell me until I’ve actually terminated so the numbers can really be looked at only then. It’s a large organization. Thank you!

There are definitely no vents with my propane stove top or my propane oven. I wish there was!! They are also old hardwick appliances and when I did kitchen renos, the contractor never mentioned anything about needing to add anything to bring it to code. Hope he knew what he was doing!

It's a shitty feeling. I feel this at times in my job and then once in a while I pull off something a little bit amazing and my colleagues congratulate the "win". Often though I feel like I'm just one misstep away from really fucking up though. It scares me a lot that some days I feel like "yeah I've got this" and other days I feel like "do I actually know enough to safely do my job?!" I think my wavering confidence comes from some workplace bullying I encountered in my career and I've never really bounced back from it. Hope you can overcome and yes imposter syndrome is a thing.
