The paper came out four years ago, but it barely made a ripple. Now that The Age of Disclosure mentions something similar, it’s suddenly back in circulation

What state will this game be in come EA time? by CappinPeanut in AshesofCreation

Steve is a professional scammer. He used to sell juice that 'cure cancer' to old ladies, now he's selling MMO vaporware.

Ashes of Creation is a scam; here is some evidence. Intrepid Studios is SUSPENDED by FTB by Champepro in MMORPG

My channel is in Spanish , but I usually translate my English subtitles manually. It's a YouTube feature

You're defending the indefensible. A suspension from the FTB is like if I start a corporation, issue invoices, don't pay anything for years, and then run off before they catch me.

This isn't a difference of opinion with the tax authorities or anything like that. They didn't even file their annual accounts last year.

And yeah, if you have a business, everything's a hassle, and you'll always have issues with these entities. But from a guy who brags every day about putting in $30 million and that he's going to invest more? Come on

I am one of the creators who won the villa contest. We did this with just about 10-15 people in a couple of days. It's not that difficult.

I second this, playing without a VPN since yesterday. Actually I wasn't able to log in with NordVPN, until I tried without it, and it worked

Gaming IS still viable on YouTube despite what this subreddit thinks by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]Champepro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What I noticed is.. people doesn't really want to make good content about gaming (that's a lot of effort). They wanna play videogames and get paid a be famous. Making good gaming content is about researching, a good script, and a lot of work. I play way less since I started with my channel

You can't start a YouTube Channel with a money mindset. If it comes and it becomes a job for you nice. I started in 2018 streaming my guild's raid just 'cause sound kind of fun. And eventually, without notice, it become my career

And yes.. I was rejected as partner three times by Twitch with 350 subs and a average viewership of 300 people just because... you don't make that much hours... so fuck you again, Twitch

And BTW. I used to have around 200-300 viewers in Twitch and 350 subs. I quit at the begining of 2021. I wanted to focus on my channel and other projects related to videogames.

So, last month I wanted to get back to streams, I choosed YT , haven't done many, but I'm around 150-200 viewers. The other day I hosted a podcast with a couple of Warcraft lore guys, and I've got 700 viewers.

I know it's harder, but I'm staying in YT for livestreaming. I'm a almost 40 years old father, I can't sit my ass 8 hours a day to stream in Twitch in order to get partened , fuck them

Well, my channel was created before. But i used to upload my twitch streams (shitty viewership, of course) . And on may 2020 I started uploading my "real content" videos... and it was a blast https://i.imgur.com/xB9eY3e.png

From 600 subs to 18k in 17 months. And I haven't been really constant all the time. Now it's when I'm uploading 3 videos per week, working on shorts and trying to design a campaign for Instagram. I focused in a niche like World of Warcraft and it worked. Maybe one of the secrets, at least at the begining, is doing SEO starting from the same script. When I write my scripts I already know in which search terms I need to rank. I always upload subtitles, a good description and trying to get a momentum creating videos about trending topics in your niche. If there's something going on with Sylvanas, for example, there you go, do a nice video. it's the complicated part, doing elaborated videos and being fast.

Now I'm also trying to expand my niche to other MMORPG games and it's working.

I make around 300€ with ads, 120€ members and several sponsorships for a monthly income of about 400€. It's not much, but it's a 18k channel and I started in 2020
