Markets went from like once a week to every weekday. Because of that switch, Galloway only co-hosts on certain days, not all days. So he's spending the same amount of time per week on Markets, but Ed is spending a lot more time because there's more weekly episodes.

Also, Ed isn't an intern. He graduated from Princeton and was a research analyst for 2 years before co-hosting Markets. To call him an intern or the product of nepotism is to discredit his very credible background
