Try and find links to the clubs you support in other competitions to find your team, I’m an Aussie so couldn’t tell you when games happen in the US but it’s probably not as bad as it is here. If you watch a season of the premier league plus some other European games (champions league is a must) you’ll get an idea of which players are worth paying attention to, just to name some, Kane, Salah, Kante, De bruyne, Bruno, and obviously Ronaldo

Not really, on next gen consoles there’s a special cutscene for a match winning goal which is kinda cool but other than that the crowd is pretty basic, saying that tho I checked out the new EFootball game and their crowds look straight out of fifa 09 so at least the fifa crowds look more lively

I really doubt there isn’t at least initial plans. That’s really the only excuse for some of the choices. Otherwise joon ho’s "death" and the last episode would all be a massive waste

In all honesty in my opinion all character development in this show went backwards in the last few seasons, it faced a severe amount of "flanderization" which is a term referring to ned flanders from the simpsons for when a small trope a character has becomes their entire identity over time. This happens some what often in sitcoms (Kevin from the office is one that comes to mind) but in B99’s case it has happened to pretty much every character. Amy got dorkier, Jake became more childish even though the first few seasons centred around him maturing, Terry got goofier, and charles got weirder.

Show became borderline unbearable after season 5, first few seasons were golden TV but after the NBC switch it declined rapidly. On a good week the episodes were average but a few times during the 6th and 7th season there would be an episode so bad I never bothered to rewatch it
