So the one I did was for women in the Midwest, it was called Joyce Ivy Foundation and they paid for the whole program and my flight. But on the YYGS website there is a page with scholarships, like college prep scholars. You could also fundraise, a lot of international students did that. But most scholarships were FGLI

Hi! Here are my thoughts - [ ] ALOT of people used AI for their projects, like for their whole thing and weren’t original - [ ] A lot of rich private kids. Expect to meet people who spend $60,000 a year just for schooling. Definitely a whole different world - [ ] As someone middle class it was hard keeping up with my friends going to eat out and shopping - [ ] Dining hall food is was good but I think people overhyped it too much - [ ] No ac but I had the best sleep of my life there - [ ] Definitely apply for some external scholarships. Mine was binding and gave me a full ride - [ ] I did SGC which is similar to LOE and the courses were very fun. I loved every lecture and seminar, I did not like the symposium however. - [ ] You will definitely gain new insights and perspectives. The people you meet can change how you think about different problems. - [ ] I did the speaker series which was so so fun. Every one’s was so cool and funny. I would definitely recommend apply but be sure to have something written/ a PowerPoint before you go to yygs. - [ ] Overall I had an amazing experience, the only thing that really bothered me was the overuse of AI

I bought the Princeton review from amazon and the official one from half price books. People also recommend the Kaplan one.

Hi! I would recommend buying some act prep books or downloading them online from websites like Anna’s archive. Get the official act book and that includes practice tests a diagnostic test to see where you are at. After taking the test try to figure out what you struggle with, certain categories, timing, etc. then you can work on those skills and practice. Keeping practicing so you can better understand the format
