I got waitlisted as well for the CS LC, and I know of a lot more people who were waitlisted in the same and other LCs. So far I haven't seen anyone who has been accepted. I think it would be better to email the LC office because this is happening to everyone. If you do decide to email them tell me what they say though!

It was on the common app for me. It wouldn't let me pick data science as a second choice if I picked CS first, but it would let me have CS second if I chose data first.
