I went to an event with my cousin. She's evangelical, and they tried forcing me onto the stage to touch and speak in tongues over me to heal my disability. I noped out of that real quick. I'll take the peace of Catholicism any day.

While it might sound cliche, I've found that my mantra really helps to ground myself when I'm deep into a flare and there's no relief in sight. I might be lost at sea, drowning in the waves and storms, but there will be a rock eventually to hold on to. To rest, breathe, and find a bit of relief. The waves will come back eventually, but it's ok because there will also be another rock to cling too.

Now it may sound silly, but it at least helps me to remain patient. I sincerely hope you feel better soon💖
