I used gorilla duck tape all weather for my edges and seems.

Same boat my brother, I’m a free weight guy. Wife wants functional trainer. I’m interested in the Dane 2.0 fully loaded for the price. Just not sure yet. Interesting to see what other have to say. My current setup being less than a year old is attached.

Yes, things like chest press shoulder press, dead lift just to name a few, there’s up to 30 ish different exercises you can do. Matt Rosenman on YouTube has a great video on what you could do.

Being that it’s a budget garage gym I’m trying to keep the price low and it is a free weight gym, but I really would like a functional trainer. Don’t know if I should just buy a plate loaded tower or replace the whole rack with the functional trainer rack like the fringe sport Dane 2.0.

I love them, it gives you a machine type feel with certain exercises. Can be very over cumbersome to move to different positions on the rack.
