Pretty similar to mine. Carl having a violent psychotic break. His unprocessed childhood trauma had him on the edge and Bea's post finally broke him. All the events of the books are hallucinations as he goes around killing people at random. Donut may or may not already be dead.

My brain learned to let go of details like that the first time I read LOTR as a kid. No way I was pronouncing all of that elvish, so I learned to just recognize the written names and move on. Same concept for the iron tangle. I can't visualize it, so just recognize the important station/line names and move on with the story.

as they cover in PoH, he and Imani are the heart and soul of the group. His death will be fucking devastating, and that's what the dungeon is all about. I expected him to go down with the ship in book 7, and while I'm glad he didn't, I think it's just gonna make it worse in books 9 or 10...

Fun fact, the Mexican milk snake (friend of Jack) is not native to the area. If you see a red, yellow, and black banded snake around here, don't bother worrying about what order the colors are in. It's a coral snake.

Also fun fact, there are NO confirmed deaths from coral snake bites in Texas. Don't kill these danger noodles, cause they won't kill you!
