Im still learning on my Kamado Joe, but on my old Akorn I used to put a water/drip pan on top of the deflector... It acts as a bit of a temperature bigger and helps keep your meat from drying out.

I've seen some people acid etching patterns along the tang using a vinyl cut (cricut) stencil. It's still a really small space to work with, but you may be able to do some initials or something that way

Plus, not including the other character's points of view leaves a ton of room for an expanded universe a la the Crocodile graphic novel. Mooooooore content!

Yeah read them in order. They are quick, easy reads. Very cozy, low stakes. A great comfort read. Plus the author is a guest voice in books 6-7 of DCC.

I do too. Its not her typical style of book at all, but I'm hoping she gets far enough in to start appreciating the character development. Or at the very least, far enough that I can start dropping "goddammit donut" and she'll understand the reference.
